At Kingdom Academy, we boast a team of passionate and experienced trainers, mentors, and coaches, who are dedicated to motivating our learners to achieve success and enhance their own personal development.
One key member of our team is Client Relationship Manager, Julian Everley, who contributes to our staff’s commitment to quality education, and plays a significant role in our mission to provide the knowledge and skills required for strategic housing management roles.
His efforts, along with the rest of the team, help to shape the future of professionals working within the housing sector.
We caught up with Julian to discuss his journey so far with Kingdom Academy, and what he enjoys most about his role.
How long have you been working at Kingdom? How did it all start?
I started working with Kingdom Academy right from the outset in February 2024.
Prior to that, I worked for Dutton Fisher Associates for four years.
I joined Dutton Fisher Associates directly from The Centre for Housing and Support (part of Cornwall College) and have been directly involved in the recruitment of candidates onto Housing/Property Management Apprenticeship and commercial training programmes for around 10 years.
What is your expertise/role?
I am the Client Relationship Manager at Kingdom Academy, and my expertise is primarily centred around building, maintaining, and strengthening Kingdom Academy’s relationship with our client basis, as well as developing new business opportunities.
As part of a robust onboarding system, I also run insight sessions for our Housing/Property Management Apprenticeship programmes, to ensure that all potential applicants and line managers are aware of the requirements of the programme.
What’s your favourite part about working at the company?
I enjoy working with clients in terms of their business needs and running insight sessions. I also enjoy receiving great feedback from our clients and seeing excellent success rates on our Apprenticeship and commercial programmes.
What are the company’s values you stand for?
Ambitious – we challenge ourselves to be the best-in-class at everything we do!
Respect – we respect each other’s differences and contributions.
How do you spend your time outside of work? What do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy walking our Jack Russell, Nipper, and spending quality time with my beautiful wife. I also look forward to a catch up with a group of friends, most Friday evenings, as well as reading and watching football (Norwich City fan)!
What makes Kingdom Academy unique?
We have a one-of-a-kind accelerated learning programme for our CIH Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications.
Another thing that makes us unique, is our last set of success rates (of any provider who delivered more than 10 Housing Apprenticeships) were higher than all our competitors!
What’s your favourite quote?
“Nothing is as contagious as enthusiasm” – I had to remind myself who said it – it was Samuel Taylor Coleridge. 😊
