In this blog, Angela shares insights into her role and what she enjoys most about working with Kingdom Academy.
How long have you been working at Kingdom? How did it all start?
I have been working for Kingdom for just over a year and started in April 2023. Before this, I had worked in housing for 20 years and as a development coach with another training provider. I applied for the role as I know a couple of people who work here, and they advised me it was a nice place to work.
What is your expertise/role?
I work as a tutor and my expertise is in housing. I currently deliver the level 3 and 4 CIH and apprenticeship qualifications to a number of cohorts and organisations.
What is your favourite part about working at the company?
My favourite part is working and supporting the learners, watching their confidence grow and them achieving their qualifications. I also enjoy working with my colleagues as we help and support each other.
What are the company’s values you stand for?
Respect - I respect my colleagues and learners.
Ambitious – I support my learners to achieve their potential.
How do you spend your time outside of work? What do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, holidays, and nice food. I also enjoy walking my dog and going to the theatre.
What’s your favourite quote?
“I would rather regret the things that I have done than regret the things I haven’t”. Take the risk. 😊
